NBA over under stone cold locks! COLD WORLD, COLD LOCKS

Each year I track some over/under picks for the NBA season. While this article is late to publish, I promise the picks were locked in before any major injuries or storylines broke.

Lock 1 — Clippers under 46.5 wins. An over would require them to go 47–25 a .65 win percentage(around 54 wins in an 82 game season). Rest management, rest management, rest management. An already weird season combined with a new coach not wanting to hurt a relationship with his two stars (are we sure they have two stars), turns into a team that will compete for homecourt advantage, but not gun for a top 2 seed.

Prediction — 44 —28 record and 4th seed in the west.

Lock 2 — Pelicans under 35.5 wins. Good young talent, but in a super deep west and questions about their defensive ability.

Prediction — 30–42 -11th in the west.

Lock 3–76ers over 44.5 wins. A new President of operations! Daryl Morey revamped the team quick and who knows if Harden is coming. New coaching, shooting and two elite (and tall) talents. This team will finally play modern basketball and will feast on weaker teams.

Prediction 46–26 2nd in the east.

Predictions that I would lock, but the first weeks have made them so obvious.

Warriors under, goodness gracious they are awful. Predicting that they shut curry down mid season to get a lotto pick and plan for 2022 all while claiming to be lightyears ahead as they have a second straight losing season with aging and often injured players! bold prediction Golden state misses the playoffs next year.
